How the Pet Door Works – The conversion systems comes complete and ready for installation. Trueview Windows can replace the double pane glass in your sliding door panel and in some cases we can install the pet door on the fixed panel of your patio door.  The pet door can be custom built with many different glass and pet door options. Can the Pet Door fit in any sliding patio door?

The pet door system will fit almost any double pane doors made in the United States. The conversion frame comes in 3 sizes designed to fits doors that feature glass thicknesses between 5/8th inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch, which is common on most patio doors. True View Windows installation professionals can quickly identify any potential problems prior to ordering and installing. Remember we do custom as well.

What Safety Glass Options Does True View Windows Offer?

Although clear tempered safety glass is the standard. We also offer Low-e, bronze and gray tint as options that you may choose.

Can the Pet Door Fit either side of my patio door?

Most common in homes is the inside slide which means the panel slides inside the fixed outer panel.  Outside sliding models which are less common would require us to install the pet door in the fixed interior panel.

Can the Pet Door insert work in Swinging Doors and Windows?

Although the custom pet door is designed to replace common thermal pane glass, True View Windows can customize units to fit a variety of options that include sliding windows, picture windows and swinging doors. Ask your True View Window sales rep for customization details.
